In January 2006, The HADCO Group of Companies commenced on a drive to develop and implement a Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Management System (H.S.S.E.M.S.) to ensure safety and security in operations for our employees, customers and visitors. Our proactive approach towards safety was followed by the proclamation of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) in February 2006.

The following is our HSSE Policy Statement.

HEALTH, SAFETY, SECURITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY STATEMENT

The management of The HADCO Group of Companies wishes to advise the employees, customers and general public that we have formally made a commitment to systematically plan, manage and maintain a Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Management System (H.S.S.E.M.S.). It is our intention to operate in compliance with National and International H.S.S.E. regulations.

The following is our Statement of General Policy:

* To provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities.

* To consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety.

* To ensure safe handling of food, equipment and substances.

* To ensure safe transportation of products.

* To prevent accidents and work-related ill health.

* To supply products which minimize the risk to both the environment and to human health.

* To provide employee training programs to ensure an understanding of and dedication to the HADCO Group's commitment to H.S.S.E. performance.

* To establish policies and procedures that are monitored, reviewed and updated for effectiveness at regular intervals.

* To make safety an integral facet of our methods of work - a way of life.

The HADCO Group accepts the responsibility for the leadership, effectiveness and improvement of this program and will ensure that this policy is followed in both fact and spirit.

Management will commit the necessary time and resources to ensure that the H.S.S.E. and compliance programs are in place and these issues take precedence over other considerations.
