Corporate Social Responsibility is the continuing commitment of a business to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce, their families and the local community at large. In other terms, CSR is how a company manages its business operations to produce an overall positive impact on society.
HADCO’s main focus is to align our products with healthy living and our Corporate Social Responsibility centers around this objective.
HADCO GROUP FOUNDATION
At HADCO we believe that our employees are family and as such we help each other. It is with this in mind that HADCO Group Foundation in memory of Maria Hadad was established, to help employees who are in distressed circumstances, such as employees who have suffered the consequences of a natural disaster, or suffered chronic disease or major illness.
The work of the Foundation does not stop there; it seeks to provide poverty and deprivation relief and assistance to communities in dire need.
Contributions to the foundation are made by employees. It is through our combined resources and the generosity and compassion we have for each other that we continue to thrive.
The well-being of each member of our HADCO family is reflected in the prosperity of our Organization. This is the goal we achieve and the principles we uphold through the HADCO Group Foundation.
FRIENDS IN THE FIGHT
For over 10 years, General Mills/Yoplait has been donating funds in collaboration with Scotiabank for their annual 5K Walk Against Breast Cancer. HADCO, the sole distributor of Yoplait in Trinidad & Tobago, has joined the fight with their ‘Save Lids to Save Lives’ campaign, donating to various cancer foundations and building awareness around the cause.
HADCO has always promoted healthy living and we constantly strive to integrate our products with these values. We would like to see more persons join with us in our drive to lead healthier, longer lives!
PHASE II PAN GROOVE
In December 2015, HADCO joined forces with Phase II Pan Groove with the intention to align their brands in a partnership structure, which allowed Phase II Pan Groove to retain their own name and identity, while giving HADCO the opportunity to literally play in the panyard.
This game changing structure in the promotion of pan, was the first ever of its kind, and an organic fit for a band such as Phase II, who has always been known to move to the beat of their own pan. With a deep national pride, coupled with passion, HADCO has charted a new course with the goal to not just financially assist but to partner with PHASE II to promote growth, development, and good governance, while continuing to honour the musical genius and legacy of Len “Boogsie” Sharpe.

HADCO takes immense pride in partnering with great artists, organizations, events and causes that are integral to our community. In January 2017 HADCO partnered with local artiste and now film maker Etienne Charles for his debut at Queen’s Hall entitled – Etienne Charles Carnival: The Sound of a People.
